King Sora

Introducing his Imperial Majesty, Sir Sora of the Knights of the Nethers, King of the Skylands and son of the chickens. ⁠⁠

This was a raffle portrait for @chickensensation_ of their beautiful cat Sora who I was requested to turn into royalty. For this one I wanted to do a warrior king with the full armor set! I'm really enjoying these royal cat portraits haha! For this one I really wanted to play around with a more intimate light setup. I tried to create the effect of a soft, diffused spotlight on the center of the composition to draw the eyes to the focal point and then let everything else just kinda go into shadow on the edges. Pretty happy with how it turned out! ⁠⁠
