Tiger Lily

The DeviantArt Collective was commissioned by Devsisters, the developers behind Cookie Run: Kingdom, to do fanart of their cookies in our own styles to help promote their ongoing fanart challenge! I chose to paint Tiger Lily because she looked fierce and powerful, and I loved the dynamic between her and her companion Butter Tiger.

"It is not known how Tiger Lily Cookie ended up in the jungle all by herself. Under the constant threat of encroaching enemies, her senses grew sharp. In contrast to her rough outward appearance, she is soft and delicate on the inside. Her only family is her trusty Butter Tiger, whom she cherishes more than anything in the world. Her great skill with the spear and excellent jumping abilities make her one tough Cookie to beat."

I wanted to push that rough outward appearance by giving her scars, somewhat disheveled hair and a chiseled/athletic build. Similarly, I made butter tiger more wiry with scars to match. Originally, I had them deep in the forest with no sky but I wanted to really force a low perspective and I felt showing a bit of sky would help that best. I included a process image as well!
