The Rose Queen

Had a chance to collaborate with the talented photographer Madeline Shayne. I asked her to provide me some raw photos so I could do an illustration based on them. This is the finished painting of that sketch I posted last week. Finally had some time to sit down and finish it! I wanted to take this one a bit beyond the local colors and push it into something a bit more arbitrary. Was a fun experiment!
