Deylinna Summerveil

This is Deylinna Summerveil the Blood Elf, former arena combatant, and Vol'kar sharpshooter. She was described to me as free-spirited, adventurous, sassy and impulsive. But with those she cares about she is extremely loyal. There are so many fun storytelling elements to her design that were a blast to figure out from her tattoos, face scar, burnt brand, and even prosthetic fingers on her gun hand! You can tell that this character has a history and has seen her share of battle. The prosthetic fingers were heavily inspired by KDA's Evelynn who has those long silver claws. I tend to gravitate towards blues, teals, and violets in my color palettes and I wanted to push myself to do something predominantly warm. So we went with a bit of an analogous color scheme. There really are no blues in this at all, mostly very de-saturated warm tones. I have so much fun painting Wow characters because they always have so much personality and backstory that makes them feel so alive!
